Clive Emson has announced 132 lots for its upcoming spring sale, with 11 lots boasting guide prices between £500,000 and £950,000. The lots cover southern England, from Essex to Cornwall, and Wales. Highlights include a former farmstead with three cottages and various outbuildings at Chelwood Gate, near Haywards Heath, West Sussex, which has a guide price of £900,000-950,000 (lot 14). Two of the cottages are occupied under regulated tenancies, producing just over £18,000 per annum, and a third is offered with vacant possession. Managing director James Emson says: “Hot on the heels of our February auction, which saw 80% of 102 lots sold, buyers continue to look to property for long-term capital gains, income and as a hedge against the cash-corrosive effects of inflation. With spring in the air, there is a complete mixture to suit all budgets, whether bidders are looking for a home, an investment, refurbishment project, development project, commercial space or piece of land.”
